15th Sunday Year A;

Isaiah in the first reading tells us God’s word is always trust worthy and effective because it always accomplishes the purpose for which it is sent.

Paul in the second reading reminds us Christians not to loose hope because the pain of this world is never compared with the joy and glory God has prepared for us in eternity.

The Gospel calls us for spiritual check-up of our hearts and asking questions like; where am I? Am I by the road side? Am I like the rocky ground? Am I among the thorns or Am I becoming good soil? The choice lies with everyone of us as we journey through this spiritual life by listening to the word of God.
